Therapy that helps you be fully seen and truly understood

Kristin Killoran - Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC, LSC.

I want you to not just be heard, I want you to be fully understood.

I believe that hope is our most powerful tool for creating change in our lives. Many of the challenges we face come from losing hope, whether in ourselves, our futures, or our relationships. This loss can leave us feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, or disconnected from who we are and where we want to go.

Therapy, to me, is more than learning quick coping skills.

Real change happens when we start to understand our fears, make sense of the painful stuff, and strengthen the connections that really matter. Feeling secure in relationships, with ourselves and with others, gives us the confidence to tackle life’s challenges.

We long to be connected, and healing happens when we can be fully present in the relationships we desire most.

Why I Became a Therapist

Like many of my clients, I find myself pondering life’s big questions:

  • What creates meaning in our lives?

  • How do we define and cultivate purpose?

  • How should we view our challenges?

  • How do we find a path through them that truly serves us?

These deep curiosities, and my fascination with how people navigate relationships and the world, led me to become a therapist.

I believe therapy is about more than science or technique.

The heart of this work is the therapeutic relationship.

You’ll be met with kindness and compassion rather than judgment. The trust we build provides the foundation for the deeper work, the kind that brings meaningful, lasting change.

It’s integral to me that you see me not just as a therapist, but as a human. I personally understand the challenges that come with introspection, growth, and vulnerability, and I’ll be right alongside you as you navigate the edges of your comfort zone.

A Bit About Me

I grew up in Western Montana, roaming neighborhoods and exploring the mountains. I’ve always been fascinated by people and their stories. After earning my undergraduate degree in Journalism and Communications, I spent my 20s traveling and working in the non-profit sector, always drawn to roles where I could listen and learn from others.

In 2018, I earned my Master’s in Counseling from OSU-Cascades and began my career as a middle school counselor. In 2022, after the birth of my second daughter, I opened my private practice to provide more in-depth support for teens, parents, and adults navigating life’s transitions and challenges.

I’m also a mom to three little ones, which keeps me on my toes, learning patience, flexibility, and how to survive the ever-changing chaos of parenthood.
